Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

This letter is in reference to the paving project at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo completed August 4, 2004. It has been our pleasure to work with a company of your caliber. We realize that Schmidt Construction went above and beyond the contract in many ways. We could tell from the beginning that this project was more than just another to you. It was a chance to do something good for the community. This project has provided a new level of safety for our visitors and was instrumental in a great accreditation inspection for us. We have a long history of partnering with Schmidt Construction, starting with the paving of the shrine road many years ago. We sincerely hope that this spirit of partnership can continue.

This letter would not be complete without a huge thank you to both Shaun Hathaway and the paving crew. Robbie, the paving foreman, was a real joy to work with. Working with our visitors can be extremely hard, Shaun and Robbie were wonderful.
